CalTrakkr is operated by Jason Javoian. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service at caltrakkr.ai.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: Name and email address provided at sign-up.
• Profile data: Goals, target macros, weight, height, and other health metrics you voluntarily enter.
• Usage data: Food logs, activity logs, weight entries, and meal plans you create within the app.
• Images: Photos you upload for AI food recognition or feedback are processed and not stored long-term. Progress pictures uploaded to the app are encrypted at rest.
• Analytics: Anonymized usage events (page views, feature interactions) collected via PostHog.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service
• To personalize your experience (macro targets, meal recommendations)
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, support responses)
• To analyze how the Service is used so we can make it better

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a managed database platform hosted on AWS. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate CalTrakkr:

• Supabase — authentication and database storage
• OpenAI — AI-powered food recognition and meal planning
• Paddle — payment processing and subscription management
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• PostHog — anonymized product analytics

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and data handling practices. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics are collected via a proxied PostHog integration that does not rely on third-party cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your Rights

9. Children's Privacy

CalTrakkr is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have done so, please contact us and we will delete the information.
